BOZ DVDs Coming March 14th!
Countdown to BOZ Begins!

Over the past few months, hundreds of thousands of families with preschoolers have been introduced to BOZ. If the reaction to his Sneak Peak DVD is any indication, BOZ’s full-length DVDs will be quite popular when they arrive at Christian stores on March 14.

What can you expect from BOZ when Thank You God for…Friends and Helpers and Thank You God for…Colors and Shapes become available?

Your preschoolers will love seeing BOZ playing and exploring with his friends Drew and Gracie. And you’ll appreciate all of the unique elements of the show: the age-appropriate educational and faith aspects, the great sing-along songs, the fantastic animation, and the wonderful family interaction.

March 14 is also the release date for the first two BOZ books: God Gives You Friends and God Loves Your Nose. These stand-alone stories allow preschoolers to continue to interact with their new green friend in a family-friendly reading format.

If you’re like us and you can’t wait for March 14 to arrive, we invite you to visit BOZ’s website at BozTheBear.com. There are all kinds of adventures waiting to be discovered!

It’s another great way for you and your preschooler to begin discovering God’s world…together!

And if you’d like someone else to discover BOZ, be sure to forward your BOZ Buzz eNews to a friend! Thanks for helping get the word out about BOZ!

A Word of Kindness
We all like to receive a word of encouragement — a verbal pat on the back. For us, it’s nice. For our kids, it’s imperative.

One of the greatest needs of your children is to receive words of affirmation, especially from you. This is a basic building block of how children view themselves and the world.

That’s why it’s important to think of at least one way that you can praise your child every day. It can be as simple as saying things like: “You are so special to me” or “I’m so glad God gave you to me!”

You can also give praise to your children for an accomplishment. This can even include small things, such as keeping a room clean, making a bed, or being kind to a sibling or a friend.

Your words of affirmation cost you nothing. For your children, they are priceless.

Fun Family Nights
The start of a new year is a great time to start family traditions. Here are some great tested ideas for fun family nights that can become a regular part of your family’s experience!
  • Friday Night Fun: Weekly pizza and games or a movie makes Friday a night the whole family looks forward to.
  • Indoor Camp Out: Get out your sleeping bags, flashlights, books, and games. Make s’mores and popcorn, and tell stories by the fireplace.
  • Reading Night: Have a regular story night for special reading time with your kids. Make it even more special by having cookies and milk!
  • Family Dinner: Make a special cooked meal together as a family, putting the kids to work as your helpers. Be sure to set the table with fancy dishes, and play special music.
  • Indoor Picnic: Set the table on the floor of your own living room! Put down a blanket, plates, and picnic food (ants optional!). Your child will love it!

It’s never too soon (or too late!) to begin building great family traditions.
